In the second winner's match, Gambit easily took down G2 on Cache. Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro only had 8 kills for his team.
The defending champions faced off against two-time champions. SK took a massive halftime lead, but Astralis fought its way back.

The second day ended with two legendary teams: Virtus. VP looked like it was going to easily take the game after the first half despite Cache being a map VP does not play much one.
The nine round lead turned into a two-round lead as Dennis "dennis" Edman started a huge comeback. However, VP held its ground and took the last three rounds to close out the game.
PENTA could not get things rolling in the first half. Dmitriy "jR" Chervak's leadership and Sergey "keshandr" Nikishin's firepower took Vega to a strong first half, but Vega continued to struggle on its terrorist side.

Fnatic had an even tougher road as after its initial matchup against Flipsid3 Tactics, it only faced top ten teams, but survived after defeating a struggling Natus Vincere and the number four ranked team in the world, G2 Esports.
History shows Fnatic has the edge, 9 wins to Gambit's 4, which includes the Swedes winning the last three matches. Gambit initially jumped to a lead, but Fnatic jumped back into the game with by taking the next five rounds.

Gambit closed out the game with the last two rounds and Gambit finally took down Fnatic at a major. Dosia completely turned things around from his other performances in the tournament with 30 kills in a game in which Gambit' star AdreN did not show up, as he only had 17 kills.
JW was the top performer for his team again with 20 kills, but it was not enough as Dosia and his team cleaned up the three time major winners.
What was supposed to be a potential grand finals matchup showed up in the quarterfinals, as the world's number one went up against the world's number three.
